Join the PSI2 course in week 10!
The PSI2 course is one of the modules in the Professional Ski Instructor (PSI) training, and this course is about off-piste and safety on the mountain.
The course includes, among other things, snow and avalanche knowledge, alpine first aid course, leading groups in alpine terrain as well as orientation, avalanche drills and accident behavior. There will be exams in safety theory, safety practice and off-piste skills.
This course is held by Patrick Bätz and the theory is in English/German.
The following equipment is mandatory :
Helmet, beeper, probe, shovel and backpack. In case you do not have your own equipment, you can borrow probe, shovel, compass, altimeter and first aid equipment from Den Danske Skiskole. As there are only a few beepers to borrow, please write an email to the office if you wish to borrow one.
Practical
The course starts
on Monday 3/3 at 7:30 AM and ends on the following
Sunday 9/3 at approximately 3:00 PM after the exam. There is instruction in the terrain every day from Monday to Saturday.
Accommodation: You are responsible for finding accommodation yourself. We would like to help you, so if you need it, please contact the office.
Transportation: You are responsible for your own transportation.
Lift pass: 7-day lift pass from March 3 to March 9 is included.
